Akshay Kumar (Aarush) plays a loser. He thinks, behaves and dresses like a loser in the entire film. In addition to this, he is also a bad luck talisman. Wherever he goes, whoever he meets, he manages to turn their lives upside down because of his bad luck. By now you can easily predict the story line that follows. Because he is considered as an epitome of bad luck or panavti, his girlfriend from Macau Island, dumps him on the day he has planned to propose her. Heart-broken, he returns to his hometown, London, England and decides to stay with his Chaddi Buddy, Ritesh Deshmukh (Baburao aka Bob) and his wife Lara Dutta. There, he manages to freak Lara out because of series of incidences that occur because of his bad luck. But ultimately the couple accepts him in their family. All very predictable.

Akshay decides to end his life in the Italian Sea and then enters Deepika Padukone (in a bikini) who saves his life and falls in love with him. This is loser Akshay’s third girlfriend in the film. The film moves on. Lara has lied to her father (Boman Irani) that her husband is a big businessman in England. Likewise, Deepika has also lied to her Army Officer Brother, Arjun Rampal, about Akshay Kumar. Now both Boman Irani and Arjun Rampal decide to visit their respective Son-in-law and brother-in-law in London! And thats when the whole confusion and series of lies start where the two couples try desperately to prove that they are rich and well to do. As expected after all this confusion everything ends well for everybody in the film.
Though the storyline is very clichéd and the jokes all predictable, some parts in the film really tickle your funny bone. Ritesh and Lara (though she looks old) have done a commendable job. Their comic timing is excellent. Jiah Khan does her job well, which is not acting! Deepika is looking hot in this film and manages well in the comedy section. Boman Irani is wasted and so is chunky pande (Aakhri Pasta) in his small role (I am joking!). Arjun Rampal is as always looking very stylish and manly in his role as an Army Officer. Akshay is becoming an expert in playing a loser in his films. But as is the case with the film, he makes you laugh in only some parts of the film. The music is Crap and the songs are totally unnecessary.
Some parts of the film will make you laugh out loud while others are , (seriously!!!), not funny at all. Overall, leave your brains at your homes and go and watch this whacky flick 'Housefull' if you have nothing important to do in these summer vacations.
