When it comes to everyone's favorite hangout place in Nagpur, almost everyone will choose Futala lake. NIT's "Beautification of Futala Lake" has really worked out very well and the place looks more beautiful than ever. Although one does misses the "n" number of Chinese Noodles thelas - The void has been filled up by some really Good Restaurants which have opened their shops near the Futala Lake.
Lakeside Grill Restaurant is one amongst them. With some off-the-shelf items on the menu, This place is a perfect heaven for Foodies. Although my appetite does support eating every item in the menu, (Un)Fortunately my pocket does not. So I went with whatever seemed fancy on the menu and the waiter chipped in his suggestions.
Starters : For the starters, I recommend the Italian Fingers for the Veggies and the Setta Chicken for the Non Vegetarians. The Chicken Tum Yum Soup is a must try - So is the Setta Chicken. If you are really looking for good food, Don't worry - You are at the right place.
Main Course : Moving on to the main course, The Chicken Biriyani here is kinda okayish. Though, I'm sure the Kolhapuri Chicken will not disappoint you. For the vegetarians, Mutter Paneer is a must try.
Ambience and Service :
Situated along the Futala Lakeside, the ambience here is really good. You can either choose to sit inside the restaurant or choose the tables outside the restaurant. The Service is a bit slow here. You could use the time to stare at the World whizzing by sitting with your partner.
A Perfect place to take someone special out for a date or relax from the monotony of life.
