In this article and others like this, we are profiling all the Famous restaurants of Nagpur with an illustrative decription of their Ambience, the variety of food they offer, and their services and exact location, so that when you wish to pick a place for a memorable evening, you make an informed decision!

The VCA stadium was never about cricket alone. Ever since it started hosting international and domestic matches, there sprung up many eat-outs in the complex, many of which have now evolved into hip teen-joints. In this series of hang-outs in the orange city, we first feature those in the VCA complex starting with an old player in the field. 

Formerly known as ‘hot breads’, ‘Reds’ stands synonymous for delicious cakes, yummy pizzas and all the fast food that appeals the Gen Y’s tastes. 

AMBIENCE

‘Reds’ does not boast of an elaborate premise but it does nicely for a leisurely catch up with friends. Though it is not the super-quiet types, the place doesn’t have a very cacophonous atmosphere either. The Service is good.

It is quite bustling in the evening and if you are a college or high-school student, chances that you might bump into one of your friends here are pretty high!

‘Reds’ caters to both veg as well as non-veg food buffs. This includes the regular teen favorites like sandwiches, pizzas, noodles (hakka, regular Chinese, etc etc), some heavier stuff like chicken preparations (winglets, lollypops etc), soups, (veg/non-veg) fajitas and likes for purists; ‘Reds’ offers a pretty good menu. And most importantly, it isn’t overpriced! 

The bakery section inside the restaurant is another thing to look out for.

The pastries and cakes are definitely worth a bite. Even if you aren’t very keen on them, the aroma is sure to drag you to them if you pass by the shelf!  They sort of specialize in chocolate pastries but also stock the bakery usual like white and brown breads, cheese, cookies, éclairs and stuff. 

Turn up in the lazy afternoons if you really crave a mouth watering pastry, or to grab a quick bite during the lunch hours.
