The popular series Indian Idol from Sony TV has entered into its fifth year (Indian idol 5) and like all seasons, this one too is making waves! Just launched after the IPL hoopla & it has captured the imagination of the whole nation. And if not the whole nation, definitely of us Nagpurians!
Cause a certain 22 year old Geetesh Arvindkumar Iyer from Nagpur has created a mini storm with his amazing performance at the auditions. Chang had selected a few contestants from Nagpur on his whirlwind tour of the orange city. And these contestants flew down to Mumbai to audition in front of the judges. While no one else could make a mark with their singing, Geetesh not only impressed the judges but also made a strong contention for being a top contestant at the Indian Idol.
Geetesh has made every Nagpurian proud! There is still a long way to go & every Nagpurian would be hoping that Geetesh goes all the way & becomes the Indian Idol.
