The Indian Premier League Season II has thrown its first major controversy! And boy, ain't it some stuff. The Kolkatta Knight Riders have been hit by the storm and they find no shelter around. As if the problems on field weren't enough for the KKR camp, a sting blog by a insider seems to have shaken up the badshah's camp.
The blogger goes by the name Fake IPL Player and has garnered a huge fan following at http://fakeiplplayer.blogspot.com/ The blog might be a work of a player or a non playing staff of the KKR team. Or it could be somebody remotely connected to team who is having fun at the expense of KKR team. The KKR management is trying hard to find out the mole and at the same time make sure that the team is well prepared for the matches. But for a team already plagued with enough problems, this is certainly a big setback.
The post at the Fake IPL player's blog are interesting and showcases what goes on in meetings, hotel rooms, breakfast tables, net sessions. Its all about behind the scene action, what camps the team is divided into and who is giving cold shoulder to whom. The blog has done enough damage and promises to do more. The readers are not complaining though as they get the inside stuff of the IPL delivered right at their door step from South Africa!
The team management claims that there are many factual errors in the articles posted on the blog. As a damage control exercise, net connection has been removed from the KKR camp and laptops banned. But still, the fake ipl continues to blog away using mobile phone. The contoversy is getting messier by the day. And Sharukh khan would be hoping that the mess gets cleared soon.
Talk about nightmares coming to an end for Kolkatta Knight Riders. The dark night has got even darker , Mr Khan!
