Youth Conference by ‘Initiatives of Change’ (IofC)
Initiatives of Change (IofC, formerly known as ‘Moral Re-Armament’) is a non-profit organization, which focuses on youth across India and neighboring countries with the objective to make them morally strong and benchmark citizens who can be tomorrows true leaders. It was brought to India under the leadership of Rajmohan Gandhi (Grandson of Mahatma Gandhi).For Last 16 years, they have been conducting Youth Conferences at Asia Plateau, Panchgani (IofC Center) and connected over 3000 youth in over 65 cities/ towns/ villages.Initiatives of Change (IofC) conduct inner transformations programs for Senior Corporates, Government officers, IAS officers, Indian Army Officers, Youth etc.
In this context, Youth Conference is being conducted for the youth of Nagpur from 28th to 30th September 2011 at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur for the age group of 16 to 25 years.This is the first time, Youth Conference of such magnitude and content is being conducted in Nagpur. Over 500 Youth from 26 Colleges of Nagpur are participating in this Youth Conference.For this conference youth team of IofC-Let’s Make A Difference, facilitators and trainers will be traveling from all across the country to run this programme successfully.
This Youth Conference aims at training the participants on moral and ethical values, cultivating habit of inner listening and conscience with an objective to create benchmark citizens.The conference also plans to connect Youth with Ethical Leaders in Corporate, Public Offices and Academics followed up with Local Projects and personal sharing about their journey living with values.
