Mirchi Maha Modak
Ganesh Utsav Celebrations in Nagpur will reach their zenith with Radio Mirchi's "Mirchi Maha Modak" Event at Futala Lake on 11th of Sept,2011.
98.3 FM Radio Mirchi has organized a unique 'Mahaprasad' event for all the Ganesh Bhakts in the city.Radio Mirchi is planning to prepare a huge Modak from Dry Fruits and Khova with none other than Nagpur's very own "Vishnu Manohar" lending his hand in preparing this huge maha prasad.This Mahaprasad will be distributed on 11th Sept (Ganesh Visarjan) at Futala Lake.
The Dry Fruits have been contributed by Ganesh Bhakts from all over Nagpur.The campaign started from 2nd of Sept in which a specially designed 'Mirchi Nano' car roamed around entire Nagpur promoting the event and collecting contributions of Dry Fruits from people and various Ganesh Mandals.This campaign is receiving tremendous response from the people.Radio Mirchi has installed a special counter at Futala lake in order for people to make their contributions.You can also make contributions of Dry Fruits at Radio Mirchi Office a Narang Towers in the city.
The Mega event will start from 4 pm onwards at Futala Lake on 11th of September.A song list specially designed for this event titled "Mirchi Moraya Mix" will be played entire day on 98.3 FM Radio Mirchi station. Also, at the venue DJ Jabs will host the event with various foot stumping tracks for the Ganesh Bhakts to dance on.
