MANCH as the name suggests is a platform to add value to a person, a life and to gain knowledge and not just information. MANCH the brain child of Ketki Arbat, aims to provide a platform to various talents encompassing music, dance, painting and performance art.
On 16th June, Thursday 7pm Nagpur witnessed official launch of "MANCH" a show the first of its kind. The jam packed auditorium was audience to around three hours of mind blowing jam session by Dj Shrirang, amazing Rock concert by band "ANONYMOUS" and outstanding dance performances by MANCH and Summer Jam. The highlight of the show was the music video release of MANCH by VFX guru Mr. Sachin Jot.
The show started with Rock Band ANONYMOUS crooning the best of retro and western rock numbers taking the atmosphere to a different level. This was followed by dance performances of members of MANCH-and-Summer jam. The dancers, each one at their best included every age group right from toddlers to youngsters and even grannys in their 60's n 70's. While the Toddlers where the stars of the show, dancing their way on "Yamla Pagla Deewana" the salsa performance by advance batch left everyone speechless. The parents of the toddlers also had a gala time matching footsteps with their little ones on stage on popular track "Saddi Galli".
All the hard work put in by the choreographers Pawan Mangoli and Pravin Shelar showed off in the highly disciplined and well articulated Indian contemporary sequence. Other dances included Western Hip-hop, Zumba fitness, Indo-Jazz, and Bollywood.
Coming to the later half of the show, the stage was turned into a digital spectacle with the Public release of MANCH latest dance video. The video featuring the troupe members was highest in VFX and cinematography seen in Central India. The complete show was befitting finale to the 15 days workshop organised by MANCH and Atul Narang Dance Institute.
With all the various talents blooming around in the city , MANCH promises to grow bigger,better and chimerically superlative to anything witnessed.
