Tarun Mittal, an unabashedly arrogant, wasted and filthily rich business heir is content veiling his insecurity behind headless skirts. An obsessive drinker and a compulsive woman-chaser, he is the perfect jester at the high-socialite evening circus!
Lakshman, his servant and wingman, is faithful, concerned and well disposed, though Tarun doesn’t give a damn!Jaidev Sastry or Jai, an orphan, manages Tarun’s business and is in love with Tarun’s cousin, Anamika.
Anamika, an independent girl pursuing a doctorate in philosophy, loves Jaidev and reveres him for his values, intellect and integrity.
Barkha Sharma or Buajee (Anamika’s mother) is a typical socialite and is vehemently opposed to their marriage. Buajee is insisting on Anamika getting married to Prateek Jain, another rich and successful businessman, for reasons more than one.
Revati, Jai’s sister by adoption, is a new recruit in a leading media group in the city. Revati, nothing like Tarun’s girls from yesterday, is fast-talking, blunt and fearlessly critical. She rips apart his ego and shows him the mirror- the one with a reflection of his soul- the one he had conveniently hidden away for so long under the garb of intoxication, money and false pride.
Om Mehta, another well-known personality in their circles, meets Jaidev at a party hosted by Tarun. Better known to be a bad influence, Om becomes Jai’s friend, philosopher and guide and helps Jai address his dilemmas. Jai almost instantly, falls for Om’s supremely confident demeanor and crystal clear thoughts. Jai is introduced to temptation and vice. Will Jai be able to resist? Will Tarun change?
Do these ruffled feathers expose the wound and heal it, or make it worse? Is Karma, Causality and Potency of Thought and Action vindicated at the end, or does the Pig make merry in the Muck?
