Education is a birth right as important as freedom. Perhaps even more, because education, among a million other things, provides the ability to choose the right path for achieving one's goal - be it freedom, success or any other thing of relevance.
But unfortunately, Education still remains a privileged commodity. Not everybody can afford it.
23 January 2010 is going to be a unique day in the history of Nagpur. Unique because it is the finale of the initiative Make A difference (MAD), Nagpur has taken to bring hundreds of school children together to contribute for a noble cause that is 'Draw For A Kid'.
'Draw For A Kid' is a contest aimed at making school children realize that they have a special power - the power of education and how they can use it to help children who are slightly disadvantaged.
In other words, it is an inter-school Drawing Competition and a city level awareness campaign about what Make A Difference (MAD) does in Nagpur.
And for YOU all who are reading this, if you are not a school kid, just drop in and draw for a kid yourself, as someone once said - "Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate."
Be there to show your support for this wonderful cause..
