Rajesh Burbure Nagpur Singer
Rajesh Burbure, a Singer from Nagpur, has just finished his gargantuan effort to put his name as well as our country's name at international level by attempting a record which will eventually find its way to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Rajesh Burbure, started his attempt to break the world record for singing non-stop for more than 80 hrs on July 22nd at 11 am. The previous record for non-stop singing was held by a Kim-Suk Ok of South Korea who sang continuously for 76 hrs and 7 minutes to create a world record in 2009. Exhausted and tired, when he finally stopped singing on July 25th, he had beaten the old record by almost 4 Hrs. 80 Hrs and 4 minutes, that’s the duration for which Rajesh Burbure sang non-stop.

The event was organized under the aegis of Youth Welfare Association at Jaswant Tuli Mall, Kamptee Road Nagpur. Though no representative from the Guinness Book of world records was present to oversee the attempt, the organizers confidently assert that they have followed all the procedures to the minutest of details as asked by the Guinness Book of World records authorities.

Burbure had selected 94 songs which he would sing during his attempt. All these songs were fed into a Karaoke System. Burbure was allowed a break of 30 seconds between the karaoke songs and was also barred from singing any songs he had already sung in the last 4 hours. According to the regulations, he was allowed to take a break of 20 minutes every 4 hrs but Burbure reduced this time to 15 minutes. As per the regulations, a team of doctors was present monitoring the singer’s health round the clock for the entire duration.

A continuous video and audio recording of the entire event has been made without any breaks and the same will be forwarded along with statements from witnesses who attended the event to Guinness authorities for their consideration for official recognition of Rajesh Burbure as the new record holder in longest singing marathon by an individual. The organizers are expecting a conformation from Guinness authorities soon.

Rajesh Burbure has already made Nagpur City proud with his record attempt. Lets wish him luck and pray that the Guinness Authorities recognize his attempt and grant him the new title holder status soon.
