
Ryan Foundation, under the aegis of Ryan International School is hosting ‘International Children’s Festival of Performing Arts' in Nagpur. The three day cultural extravaganza will begin from 14th of July at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall in the Orange city. Students from St. Xavier’s School Nagpur will be participating in this mega event. This is a huge event and will feature dance performances from all across the world.
Ryan Foundation has roped in close to 20 artists from India as well as from across the world. Artists from countries like Russia, Finland, Poland, China, Kazakhstan, Uganda, Lithuania, Belgium, Indonesia and Zimbabwe are training the students in various dance forms. This grand event will not only provide an opportunity for the students to learn contemporary and traditional dance forms but also provide a platform to learn cultures and traditions from all across the world. More than 200 students will perform on stage during this three day event.
During the course of the festival, students will present traditional dance performances representing different cultures and countries from the world. This festival will feature a Broadway style musical ‘Hey Dumbo’ directed by Utkarsh Marwah of New Delhi. The main attraction of this festival will be a theatrical parade where the young cultural peace brigade will march through the city in theatrical costumes, displaying colors of life and message of world unity. The theater mela will feature Puppet shows as well as dance performances by the young artists.
This international Festival is meant to spread the message of World Peace, Harmony and Love. This event will provide a huge boost to Nagpur’s cultural scene. In addition, this effort will also explore energy, physicality, concentration, character, self awareness and team work of today’s younger generation.
