Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Research, Nagpur (formerly known as NYSS College of Engineering & Research) was established in the year 2008 by 'Nagar Yuvak Shikshan Sanstha', which has previously opened many educational institutions in Nagpur, for different genres of education under the guidance of their Chairman - Hon'ble Shri Dattaji Meghe.
The college is located at about 15 km from Nagpur Railway Station on the Nagpur - Hingna road at Wanadongri, near YCCE (YeshwantRao Chavan College of Engineering). The campus stretches in 10 acres of land.It is affiliated to RTM (Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj) Nagpur University, Nagpur and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The college has tie up to Purdue Universtiy, Lawrence Technological University, Northern Illinois University, University of Massachusetts Lowell, USA, MI, Scotlands Colleges International (SCI), Scotland, Uk & SVNIT, Surat, India to exchange program & higher education.
