'Why do children always draw a brown trunk with a green cloud for a tree? Are there not any other kinds of trees? Or have they seen just one tree?' Asks Mr. Tanul Vikamshi, the complementary half of the siblings-duo - Tanul and Lalit Vikamshi who started the 'For one and all' - Alag Angle Studio, where Age, sex, profession is no bar. And the only passion is Art :The love for painting, photography, sculpting et al.
And as we settle down in this secluded and inviting haven of Art, taking in the marvelous work brought to life by the Vikamshi brothers and their pupils, he himself answers, 'No. They have seen other trees, and they know the difference among them, but they never attempt to go against what the teacher told; the teacher taught them to draw a tree like this, so they ALWAYS draw a tree like that. Art is not methodical, it should be free flowing, since it holds different meaning for everyone. Use your own imagination for Everything. That's the only Rule we have at Alag Angle.'
With this very motto, Alag Angle Studio was started by the trio Tanul Vikamshi , Lalit Vikamshe and Mili Vikamshi in 2005 in an effort to promote Arts in Nagpur, where a lot remains unexplored in the field of Art.
