Some unknown mortal famously quoted - 'If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: "Take two aspirin" and "Keep away from children"'.
But the best remedy for this omnipotent tension would be becoming a 'child' yourself. Remember your childhood days and also try to remember how we confronted tension as children. You will find it very hard to list them down because tension didn't exist for us back then!
The only things that stressed us out were related to 'play time'. Will I get to 'play' today? Will the ground dry out so that we can play cricket? Would I be able to discover some new hiding place for 'Hide and Seek' ? would I be able to hide the bruise from my mother that Kabbadi gave me? Such innocent tensities!!!
If you think that its not possible now to relive your childhood days again then you must get yourself enlisted to the 'Time Please Club' in the city. Subodh Sathe, a multi-dimensional personality from the city has started this club where the members meet every sunday and play games that we used to play in our childhood.
Almost all of us have lost touch with these games and this reintroduction not only provides an outlet for the elders to relax and enjoy but also helps in reviving these old games. This club has been established to bring out the long lost child inside you.
Members together play 'Sankhali', 'Kho- Kho', 'Andhali Koshimbir', 'Rassi Khech', 'Rumal Palavni', 'Lagori', 'Langdi' , 'Nadi ki Pahad', 'Vish-Amrut' ,'Kabaddi' and many more games. There are no age limits for joining this club but only condition strictly enforced is that you should be ready to let your inner child loose at least for some time.
People from all walks of life are members and every sunday they come together and have a gala time together. For one hour every sunday these guys just forget all their tensions and worries and relive their childhood.
Do pay a visit and revive the kid inside you!
