Aarohi is the annual youth festival (Culfest) of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India. It is organised every year during winter in February & is the biggest cultural fest in Central India. Aarohi festival has more than 15000 viewers every year. Aarohi attracts more than 4000 participants in elimination rounds of various contests. The event runs for 3 days, while the elimination rounds for various contests begin 10–15 days in advance. Events include a Personality Contest, Singing, Quiz, Debate, Band Contest etc.
Established in 1960, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, erstwhile V.R.C.E., has garnered reputation as a premier engineering institute in the country over the years.With a sprawling campus and its location in the heart of Nagpur, the institute has seen many of the country's most respected and esteemed corporate barons and academics pass through its corridors. Besides offering both undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level programs in Engineering and Architecture, VNIT has also become a major player in the field of cutting edge research with state of the art facilities for CAD - CAM, VLSI, nanotechnology, GIS , remote sensing etc.
